I am a theorist philosopher with a background in social anthropology and a predilection for exploring 'the self' through fiction writing. I am currently writing something called 'The Sadhu Express' (It's actually a warped love story!).

Thanks to my latest period of MPhil study (social anthropology at The Chinese Univerity of Hong Kong), as an avid theorist interested in thinking about transnational cultures, social change and the politics of ethnicity/identity - I was led into the realm of extreme egomania (both my own and others).

Beautifully, because the integral spiral builds and mutuates up and onwards at the same time paying homage to our lower stages of evolution - or involution as, like Aurobindo I like to call it - my journey took a typical route from egomania to knowledge, to piercing thresholds through knowledge to spontaneous realisations of the essential self.

Full circle of growth, and a harvest continuing to be reaped & sown.

By concentrating on the lives of those that were subject of my fieldwork in Hong Kong, I was propelled back into the depths of the self (not a choice, a spontaneous happening) - and that resulted in writing my first novel: The Paradise of Dysfuntion: an ethnography of mental abuse and enlightenment. With that marathon spontaneous healing process out of the way I am glad to say that I have shed a globes worth of personal darkness and I am enjoying my current perspectives and insights of hardcore 'integralism' in all its manifestations.

For me, the human resonant field is the key tool in our involution. Together we pull each other up as well as reveal each others blockages and barriers to moving forward. Conversation then is one of my favorite integral practices, and continues to be the ultimate adventure into personhood and the philosophy & 'practices'  (practical illuminations)of life.

**Forgot to mention the most important bit: that I am a dance & mantra queen and a quick glimpse though my window in the morning would see me on my carpeted dancefloor twisting the Kosmos through my grooves to the funkiest indestructable Asian beatzzz!

NOW:
Training myself to walk my talk, to embody practice, to make use of the realisation that this moment is really it. Thankful, heartfelt and melting into the universe. Reminder: to keep the above in order to anchor in the perpetual now.
