Returning to an old favorite. This is one of those beautiful devotional songs that really has the ability to kick in.
The verses I've bolded are supersonic! If you're not feeling that, your doing something wrong! Enjoy ................................
Mere Guru Dev

Mere Gurudev, charanon par sumana shraddha ke arpita hai
Tere hee dena hai jo hai. Wahi tujha ko samarapita hai
My Gurudev I offer these flowers of my faith at your feet
Whatever I have, you have given to me, and I dedicate it all to you.
Na priti hai pratiti hai, na hi puja ki shakti hai
Meraa yaha man, meraa yaha tan, meraa kan kan samarapita hai
I have no love, nor do I know you. I don't even have the strength to worship you, But this mind of mine, this body of mine, my every atom is dedicated to you.
Tuma hee ho bhaava men mere, vicharon mein, pukaron mein.
Banaale yantra ab mujhko mere saravatra samarapita hai
You are the only one in my heart and my thoughts.
You are the one who I call out to.
Now Make me your instrument - all I am I offer to you.

Lisa,
THis just makes me think of our evening in Edinburgh…….hmmm I still don't really “get it”, but it brought you to visit when I was in the midst of turmoil and packing cases…….I just realised, that must have been almost exactly a year ago. Wow!

Gosh. On some levels funnily enough though, it feels like about 5 condensed years have passed. I think it's really far out to contemplate transitions. That time was a penultimate one all around so it seems! Relationships ending all around, real movement on the interior, - shifts/connections touching all aspects of life.
Whooooooooosh! Life is mind blowing.
I've really enjoyed hearing how things have gone for you when I looked at your blog, Liz. You sound like you've really got into your own space and are really well. x
